Queer Art Retreat
A Creative Pause During Pride
June 22, 2025 1-4pm
A Queer-led art retreat for rest, expression, and connection.
Pride Month is beautiful... and busy.
This retreat is a soft space in the middle of all that. A slower way to celebrate. A chance to come back to yourself.
Join local Queer artist, Jennifer Oviedo, for a welcoming retreat designed to help you decompress, connect, and make art in good company.
We’ll gather in community to make art with our hands, breathe a little deeper, and step out of our heads for a while. No expectations. No need to “be good at art.” Just Queer folks making space for joy, creativity, and calm.
All materials are provided, and all identities are celebrated.
Let this be your gentle Pride moment.
Meet Your Host Jennifer Oviedo
Visionary Fine Artist and Crochet Designer
My ethos is simple: slow is sacred. Every garment, every painting, every written word is crafted with care, not haste. Rooted in sustainability, grounded in truth. My work honors the imperfect, the handmade, and the deeply personal.
